Event Description:

Proceeds from the Sixth Annual DPT 5K Run/Walk and Kid’s Fun Run will support Easter Seals United Cerebral Palsy of North Carolina and the Duke University Physical Therapy program. The race will take place on the Duke University campus on Saturday, October 23rd, 2010 from 9am – 1pm. Our event aims to raise funds to help provide direct physical therapist services for children and adults with disabilities, raise physical therapy awareness, and promote fitness in the community.

The course is flat, fast, and USATF certified. Prizes will be awarded to overall top three males and females, as well as the top finisher in each age group. The kids fun run will begin at 9am with the 5k following at 10am. All 5k participants will receive a t-shirt and an opportunity for a free post race massage!!! Custom goodies given to all kids fun run participants.
