Event Description:

The 25th Annual Goldsboro Family YMCA Sprint Triathlon will be held at the Village of Walnut Creek, approximately 10 miles east of Goldsboro off of Hwy 70. The event consists of a 1/2 mile lake swim, 20 mile bike and 5k run.

This year's race will feature chip timing for all participants by East Carolina Road Racing, using the Ipico Sport timing system. All participants must pick up chips the morning of the race and return after the race.

The race is open to both individual and team entries and awards will be presented in the following divisions:

Females: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55+, Athenas (150 lbs+)
Males: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55+, Clydesdales (200 lbs+)
Teams: All males, all females, mixed teams
